The birth of a new design
HANSAGENESIS is the result of a deliberate design process, where art and craftsmanship come together to create an object designed to last. Throughout the process, from initial inspiration to completion, an idea takes shape. The first piece designed then becomes the starting point for a whole family of products. Once out of its mould, the first HANSAGENESIS tap reveals its true essence: a sculptural silhouette and precisely designed lines. It embodies the original vision, crafted to become much more than just an assembly of materials.
Seamless design
Every element of HANSAGENESIS has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail. The surface of the tap, designed without visible welds, has very few visible joints or grooves, which limits the accumulation of dirt and residue. A seal under the cap provides additional protection by preventing cleaning fluids from penetrating inside. The result: a tap that is both easy to maintain and elegant to look at.
Optimised aerator design
The tap aerator has been developed with particular attention to detail. Unlike traditional models, there is a deliberate gap between the aerator and the end of the spout. This open design limits the adhesion of water droplets to the spout. When a few drops do remain, they settle on the silicone aerator, which is easy to clean and simple to replace if necessary. This approach reduces limescale build-up, simplifies maintenance and preserves the appearance of the tap over time.
Carefully selected finishes
HANSAGENESIS taps are available in four carefully selected, elegant finishes: chrome, brushed steel, brushed bronze and matt black. Each finish brings its own personality to the design and highlights its lines. This colour palette allows the tap to blend harmoniously into different interior styles, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.
Ingenious design details
Every aspect of the HANSAGENESIS tap has been designed to combine functionality and comfort. The space around the aerator facilitates water flow and reduces splashing, while the angle of the aerator can be adjusted up to ±6° for a perfectly directed spray. The spout can be swivelled through 120°, offering great freedom of movement and optimal everyday use.
Optimisation of water consumption
The HANSAGENESIS tap incorporates smart solutions to control water usage. It offers four flow limiter settings, an adjustable temperature stop and a cold start function combined with the EcoFlow feature. Certified UWL Eco Class 2, it combines performance and environmental friendliness while offering optimal user comfort.

Award-winning Italian design
The HANSAGENESIS tap collection was born out of a collaboration with Italian design studio Debiasi Sandri, founded by Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri. The duo has created numerous designs for brands in a variety of sectors. Their joint work has received several international awards, including the iF Design Award 2025 for HANSAGENESIS.
